19 days: Nairobi – Maasai Mara – Nakuru – Baringo/Bogoria – Naivasha – Samburu – Meru Park – Ol Pejeta (Nanyuki) – Amboseli – Nairobi
Day 1: SAT 27. July 2024 – Arrival Nairobi
Booking flight on your own responsibility and expenses. Pick up in the evening, transfer to a hotel in Nairobi on the way to Maasai Mara.
Day 2: SUN 28. July 2024 Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Early pick up in the morning, early moring game drive in Nairobi National Park, then transfer to Maasai Mara, doing a first gamedrive there.

Day 3-5: MON 29. – WED 31. July 2024 – Three full days of game viewing drives in Maasai Mara
Spend the days in Masaai Mara with unlimited game viewing drives in the morning and afternoon or go on full-day game viewing drives with a picnic lunch in search of the big five, the great migration and a visit to the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. Experience Sundowners. Accomodation: Maasai Mara safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: THU 1. Aug. 2024 – Maasai Mara – Nakuru
Leave Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru salty water lake for a late lunch. After lunch embark on an afternoon game viewing drive with the prospect of seeing rhinos, flamingos and Rothshild giraffes until sunset, overnight stay in your Nakuru safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: FRI 2. Aug. 2024 – Nakuru – Baringo
Depart after breakfast and drive further North to Lake Baringo, a freshwater lake that has its own share of bird life species like the White-faced Scopes owl, brimstone canary, bristol crowned starling, goliath heron, little weaver, jackson’s and,hemprich’s hornbill.
After a relaxed lunch we will descend down onto the cliffs to look for the white-faced scopes owl, black-throated barbet, and mouse collared tit before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your Baringo hotel.

Day 8: SAT 3. Aug. 2024 – Baringo – Lake Bogoria – Baringo for bird watching
After breakfast: proceeding to Lake Bogoria, home to flamingos, with the possibility of spending more time in the afternoon at Lake Baringo.

Day 9: SUN 4. Aug. 2024 – Baringo – Naivasha
Check out after breakfast and drive through a scenic journey past the equator and the sisal plantation to lake Naivasha, including boat trip on Lake Naivasha and possibility of a walk on Crescent Island, the scenery of the famous film “Out of Africa”. Also possible: visiting Elsamere, the home of Joy Adamson and her famous tame lion Elsa.

Day 10: MON 5. Aug. 2024 – Naivasha – Samburu
Check out after breakfast and drive towards Samburu and do an afternoon game viewing drive at Buffalo Springs National Park.

Day 11-12: TUE 6. – WED 7. Aug. 2024 – Samburu
Spend two days in the National Parks of Samburu, including a half-day trip the the unique Reteti sactuary and experience the feeding of young elephants and giraffes.
The time allows a visit to the Mama Wachira children home in Archer’s Post.

Day 13: THU 8. Aug. 2024 – Samburu – Meru
After breakfast leaving Samburu with a last gam drive and proceed to Meru surrounding Mount Kenya..

Day 14: FRI 9. Aug. 2024 – Meru Park game viewing drive
After breakfast go for a full day game viewng drive at Meru National Park, which is said to be wild and beautiful. Straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain fed streams. It is famous for its beautiful, scenery and ideal for fauna and flora. This was home to conservationists George and Joy Adamson with Elsa their semi-tame lioness and Pipa the cheetah that put the park on the map of the famous film “Born Free”.

Day 15: SAT 10. Aug. 2024 – Meru – Nanyuki
After breakfast drive towards Nanyuki with the possibility to view Mount Kenya again. Arriving at your lodge or hotel you have the possibility of relaxing in the afternoon.

Day 16: SUN 11. Aug. 2024 – Nanyuki: Ol Pejeta Private Conservancy
After breakfast go for a full day game viewing drive at Ol Pejeta Park with the chance of seing the big cats, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. Also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and the rhino sanctuary with the chance to see the two last surviving northern white rhinos and have the possibility to visit and maybe feed blind rhino Baraka.

Day 17: MON 12. Aug. 2024 – Nanyuki – Amboseli
After breakfast we proceed to Amboseli. Due to time of arrival, a short evening game viewing drive might be possible.

You will enjoy a full day of game viewing drive until sunset.

Day 19: WED 14. Aug. 2024 – Amboseli – Nairobi – depart
After an early morning game drive, you will drive back to Nairobi and enjoy your farewell dinner, e.g. at Matbronze Gallery, Karen. Get to the airport right in time for your overnight flight back to Frankfurt with an early arrival next morning of THU 15. Aug. 2024.

Proposal: We suggest to book direct flights Frankfurt-Nairobi already in August 2023 to reduce costs.
Paying conditions: We ask for a down payment of 60 % after booking due to high season conditions. 40 % are to be payed 8 weeks before the begining of your safari.

Expect a well inspected pop-up top jeep 4-wheel-drive for easy wildlife viewing.
