13 days: Nairobi – Nanyuki – Samburu – Solio – Naivasha – Amboseli -Nairobi
Day 1: TUE 29. October 2024 – Arrival Nairobi
Booking flight on your own responsibility and expenses. Pick up in the evening, transfer to a hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2: WED 30. October 2024 Nairobi
Pick up in the morning, city tour including Rothshild Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum and Railway Museum. Time to relax in the afternoon.

Day 3: THUE 31. October 2024 Nairobi
Spend a good half day in Nairobi National Park with the chance of seing lions, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and course gazelles, ostriches and buffalos.

Day 4: FRI 1. November 2024 – Nairobi – Nanyuki
Leave Nairobi at early morning and drive to Nanyuki. If possible, you will do this journey by taking the ancient railway. You will be picked up at Nanyuki. Duration: About 7 hours train trip.

Day 5: SAT 2. November 2024 – Nanyuki – Samburu
Leave Nanyuki early in the morning and drive to Samburu and check-in at your Samburu safari hotel for lunch, having gamedrives as wished and visit Mama Wachira children home in Archer’s Post for the first time.

Day 6-7: SUN 3. / MON 4. November 2024 – Samburu
Spend two days in the National Parks of Samburu, including a church visit at Archer’s Post on Sunday, a half-day trip the the unique Reteti sactuary and experience the feeding of young elephants and giraffes. Visiting a traditional Samburu village, going to Mama Wachira children home and doing gamedrives at Samburu National Park as wished, seeing Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy zebra, gerenuk and the big four with many more animals until sunset.

Day 8: TUE 5. October 2024 – Samburu – Solio
After early breakfast: proceeding to Solio, checking in in your hotel for lunch. Afternoon gamedrive at Solio, the largest Rhino sanctuary in Kenya with over 450 both black and white Rhinos and is home to the big five. Coming back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: WED 6. November 2024 – Solio – Naivasha
After breakfast leaving for Naivasha, either via Nyahururu or by crossing the Aberdare National Park (additional park fee). In the afternoon, you can do a boat trip at Naivasha Lake on own expenses. Also a walk on Creszent Island is possilble (where many scenes of “Out of Africa” have been taken). Bvernight stay in your Naivasha safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: THU 7. November 2024 – Naivasha – Amboseli
After breakfast drive towards Amboseli, check-in in your hotel or tented camp for late lunch and go for an afternoon game viewing drive in search of elephant herds as they are many here with a view of Kilimanjaro, weather allowing, and go for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: FR 8. November 2024 – Amboseli
You will enjoy a full day of game viewing drive until sunset. During the day it is possible to visit a Maasai village und to get into contact with Maasai people.

Day 12 – 13: SAT/SUN 9. /10. November 2024 – Amboseli – Nairobi – depart
After an early morning game drive, you will drive back to Nairobi and enjoy your farewell dinner, e.g. at Matbronze Gallery, Karen. Get to the airport right in time for your overnight flight back to Frankfurt with an early arrival next morning of SUN 10. November 2024.
