Kenya Tanzania safaris take you to Lake Manyara a shallow lake on the great rift valley in Tanzania. Said by Ernest Hemingways to be the “loveliest lake in Africa,” it is also the home of a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife.

Kenya Tanzania safaris will take you to the Serengeti national park which is famous for its annual migration of over one and a half million white bearded wildebeests and the same number of zebras. Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey.

Kenya Tanzania safaris cover the Ngorongoro crater a large volcanic caldera that lies within the area. The Tarangire national park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. It lies a little distance to the southeast of Lake Manyara and covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers and will take you to Arusha a town surrounded by some of Africa’s most famous landscapes and National parks

Day 1. Nairobi – Arusha – Lake Manyara 397 km 8 hours.

Pick up from Arusha and transferred for lunch and safari briefing at Arusha hotel before driving to Lake Manyara. There will be a stop at Mto wa mbu market where you will have a chance to mingle with the natives and share their lifestyle and diverse culture.

Day 2. Lake Manyara full day.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will descend the walls of the great rift valley to Lake Manyara national park for a morning and evening game drive or with a picnic until sunset Lake Manyara is famous for its abundant birdlife and the amazing tree-climbing lions. This pretty little park tucked into the base of the rift valley escarpment is often used as an introduction for safaris heading north but can become a real live safari experience with spectacular volcanic scenery, the rift valley escarpment, and immense featureless plains check in your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Lake Manyara  – Serengeti 279 km 6 hours.

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart for  Serengeti national park for lunch. Which covers an area of 14,765 square kilometers and offers the most complex and least disturbed ecosystem a unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support more than 30 species of large herbivores and nearly 500 species of birds. Afternoon game viewing drive until sunset and check in your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Serengeti full day.

Spend the day with morning and afternoon game viewing drives or checkout after breakfast with a picnic lunch until sunset in search of the big five until and check-in your safari hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Serengeti – Ngorongoro 209 km 4 hours.

Check out after breakfast with a game viewing drive to the exit gate and drive to Ngorongoro for lunch. via Olduvai Gorge which is considered the origin of mankind, this is where the famous Mr & Mrs. Leakey discovered the 1.75 million-year-old remains of Australopithecus boisei (‘Zinjanthropus’) and Homo habilis which suggest that our species first evolved in this area.

We arrive at our lodge situated on the crater rim just in time for lunch. The rest of the afternoon can be spent at leisure having spectacular views of the crater. Ngorongoro is found in the land of the giant craters this caldera is 14 miles 22.5 km across.

Day 6. Ngorongoro full day.

After breakfast at the lodge we descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor for a full-day tour with a picnic lunch. It is a complete ecosystem and considered the eighth wonder of the world. Populated by Maasai tribes, this area of grasslands, volcanoes, and forests makes it superb hiking terrain. Our drive will include searching for the rhino, elephants, hippos, cheetah, wildebeest, lions, and plentiful other predators and their prey.

It is 2000 ft 610 m deep and grew to be this large by the sinking of the caldera floor which is very level and holds a lake. Streams run down the caldera walls into the lake. Ngorongoro is full of pastureland of red and white clover and many animals live in this caldera dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 7. Ngorongoro – Tarangire 175 km 4 hours.

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart towards Tarangire national park with game viewing en-route to our lodge for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive which and never disappoint as there is plenty of native elephants, lions, rarely seen lesser kudu, bushbuck, baboons, and the incredible tree-climbing lions and pythons until sunset and check min your Safari hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8. Tarangire full day.

Spend the day with morning and afternoon game drives or full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in this magnificent Tarangire park until sunset which covers approximately 2850 square kilometers. It lies in the south and derives its name from the Tarangire River, which provides permanent water for wildlife in the area. The park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Dinner and overnight Tarangire safari hotel.

Day 9. Tarangire – Arusha 87 km 2 hours.

Breakfast at the lodge we drive towards Arusha with a game viewing drive arriving time for lunch and afternoon can be spent on leisure in Arusha or as clients wish.

All safaris are offered in a choice of luxury, standard, or economy safari lodges or tented camps depending on your safari budget.

Tour prices are per person sharing in a private pop-up top Jeep for easy wildlife viewing and the cost in US dollars.
